The 1st International Conference on Maritime Education & Training (ICMET 2016) will be held in Semarang, Central Java Indonesia on November, 17, 2016. This Conference is jointly organized by Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang, Indonesia.

The aim of the conference is to provide a platform to the researchers, experts and practitioners from academia, governments, NGOs, research institutes, and industries to meet and share cutting-edge progress in the fields of maritime Education. It provides an opportunity to enhance understanding of the relationships between knowledge and research related to Maritime Education.

Conference Scope

Prospective presenters are encouraged to submit papers that offer
new research or theoritical contribution. Presentations should be
in English and should address both theoritical issues and new
research findings. Prospective authors are invited to submit
full (and original research) papers (which is NOT submitted or
published or under consideration anywhere in other conferences
or journals ).
